Rebecca is an associate at Camp Fiorante Matthews Mogerman, a plaintiff-side class action law firm. She specializes in class actions dealing with civil conspiracies and breaches of the Competition Act. Before Rebecca joined CFM, she worked in commercial litigation at a large national firm, and then as a solicitor specializing in municipal law. She attended law school at the University of British Columbia, where she worked as a research assistant focusing on feminist issues in tax law and criminal law. She was also a legal intern for the B.C. Civil Liberties Association and clerked at the B.C. Court of Appeal. Rebecca feels passionately about social and economic justice. Prior to law school, Rebecca volunteered at the Carnegie Community Centre and was very involved in politics (she ran federally for the NDP in 2008). She has been a long-time admirer of CLAS and is honoured to serve on CLAS’s board.
