Human Rights Litigation Lawyer
Six-Month Maternity Leave Replacement
April 1, 2010 to September 30, 2010

The Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS) in Vancouver requires a lawyer with 4-5 years litigation experience for a six-month maternity leave replacement, commencing April 1st, 2010. The lawyer will work in CLAS' BC Human Rights Legal Clinic to represent Complainants at the BC Human Rights Tribunal and on judicial reviews and other appellate matters. Administrative tribunal and/or trial experience and knowledge of human rights and employment law are an asset. Occasional travel outside of the Lower Mainland may be required.
