Alison is a lawyer in the BC Human Rights Clinic. She provides advice and representation to people who have filed or are considering filing a human rights complaint. Prior to joining CLAS, Alison practiced criminal law in Alberta where she regularly appeared in Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench.
Alison has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Alberta, and a law degree from the University of Victoria. During law school, Alison worked as a Legal Intern at West Coast LEAF, was a temporary articled student with the BC Ministry of Justice, and worked at a full-service mid-size law firm in Victoria.
In her spare time Alison enjoys singing and swimming in the ocean.
