Community Law Program – CLP
Christian is a lawyer in CLAS’ Community Law Program. In this role, he assists clients who have received decisions impacting their housing security, human rights, income security, or dignified access to health care services. He also represents clients detained under the Mental Health Act. Prior to joining the Community Law Program, he was an articling student with CLAS and rotated through three of the organization’s core programs.
Christian previously spent time working in harm reduction and proudly organized with the Vancouver Tenants Union and UVic Law Students for Harm Reduction and Decriminalization. He holds a joint degree in Canadian Common Law and Indigenous Legal Orders from the University of Victoria.
