Isaac Koenig-Workman
Early Resolution Advocate
Mental Health Law Program
Isaac joined the Community Legal Assistance Society in 2025 as an Early Resolution Advocate with the Mental Health Law Program. His work focuses on supporting people certified under British Columbia’s Mental Health Act by helping them understand their rights, advocating for individuals in intersection of mental health and legal systems, and resolving legal issues early in the process.
Isaac brings experience across nonprofit, government, and academic settings with a background in mental health support, group facilitation, and public communication. He has contributed to research at UBC’s Attentional Neuroscience Lab and Centre for Gambling Research. Isaac has written extensively about behavioral science for The Decision Lab, an applied research and innovation firm that uses evidence-based insights to address complex social challenges.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and is currently pursuing an Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights at UBC Sauder School of Business. Isaac is especially committed to reducing barriers to care for youth and young adults navigating complex mental health systems.
