With over 20 years of experience working alongside children, youth, individuals, and families navigating social and government systems, Jessica shifted her focus to the anti-violence sector in 2017. She was the first social work practicum student at Rise Women’s Legal Centre and spent five years supporting individuals with lived experience of violence, abuse or crime through VictimLink BC.
Jessica’s practice is grounded in trauma-informed, resilience-focused, anti-oppressive, decolonizing, and intersectional approaches. She centers each client’s unique needs, values, and strengths, fostering a safe and supportive environment. Her work aims to empower clients, help them feel heard, and support them with dignity and respect.
